THE 7TH FOLD
*The seventh fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

This is where you will stay connected with all things Folds of Honor, such as impactful partnerships, upcoming events, store promotions and most importantly, the stories of the families you stand with.
FAMILIES OF FOLDS
Meet Laura Stamm, Folds of Honor recipient and daughter of Sergeant Terri Stamm. Laura pursued a degree in Art History at the University of Minnesota and graduated in the spring of 2018. Laura shared her appreciation stating, “Folds of Honor means the world to me for providing me with the financial means to pursue my education. It has showed me that my country truly cares about my education. Above all it shows that the country still cares for my mother and her family, even after her service.”

Laura’s mother has always been a key part in instilling Laura with drive and perseverance, no matter the obstacle. “My mother has always been my hero and my rock. She taught me that I could always do anything and that I am strong enough to pursue my dreams.”

This summer, Laura Stamm is participating in “WorkArt Kunstverein Internship Program” through the University of Minnesota in Wurzburg, Germany on the Arte Noah, a floating contemporary art museum. She assists the director and curator with managing new and existing exhibits, assisting with gallery operations and administration, as well as conducting tours for visitors and guests of the museum.

“I am truly appreciative of this opportunity to apply my degree plan to my work here at Arte Noah, which was made possible through the Folds of Honor scholarship program.”

Houston Chapter
The 13th Chapter

The Houston Chapter proudly became the 13th Chapter of Folds of Honor on March 13th, 2018 at 1300 hours and have hit the ground running!

They participated in their first event at the Redneck Country Club in Houston, helping promote Redneck Riviera whiskey with John Rich. $10,000 was raised from sales taking place in SPECS locations across the city.

On the 4th of July the Chapter was to receive a $40,000 donation from Silver Eagle Distributors at Freedom Over Texas. Due to flooding the event was canceled and held in conjunction with their 5th annual event with the Houston Astros.

The chapter created a commemorative challenge coin which raised over $12,000 . The Astros Cares Foundation donated $5,000 and Aramark contributed an additional $2,500 bringing the total donation to $59,500.

They have also partnered with Rudy’s BBQ for the third year and received a donation of over $18,000 from proceeds through their Camo Cup for a Cause campaign during the month of May.

Additionally, they kicked off a new partnership with Warpig BBQ. A portion of the proceeds from F.U.B.A.R BBQ sauce are donated back to Folds of Honor. To date, that partnership has raised over $20,000 and HEB donated an additional $5,000.00.

POWERFUL PARTNERSHIPS
Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks held its annual Miss Twin Peaks Contest at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas last month. During the contest, they presented a $405,000 donation to Folds of Honor.

They announced their partnership during last year’s contest and committed to sponsoring one $5,000 scholarship from each store nationwide. Each store had the autonomy to raise the funds how they saw fit. From golf tournaments, car washes, round up programs and raffle ticket sales, each store met their goal. Find a store near you to purchase and help them reach their goal of $1,500,000 in scholarship opportunities for deserving families!

“At Twin Peaks, our support for and appreciation of America’s men and women in uniform is woven into our DNA. We are overjoyed and honored to be able to fund scholarships for the families of service-members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.”

Joe Hummel
CEO, Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks has become an influential part of the Folds of Honor mission and we are beyond grateful for their support.
