Meet Christina Webber, Folds of Honor Children’s Fund Recipient and daughter of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Milton Webber.
Christina is currently in 9th grade attending Clarksville Academy. She aspires to serve her country after graduating high school and has made great efforts to support military families like hers through Folds of Honor.
“I started monthly donations to Folds of Honor so other kids can partake of this wonderful program. This past summer I started selling candy around my neighborhood in efforts to raise funds. In addition, I also raised money through yard sales and other chores so I can give back to other kids, who like me, have hero fathers, who have been injured in combat while serving in the military.”
Christina feels her contribution may not be much now, but she is working diligently toward serving her country. Little by little she is getting closer to that goal. The last two summers she attended programs at West Point and the Air Force Academy, where she learned various leadership and service skills. She will continue to invest in military academy programs to determine which academy she’d like to attend.
“I will continue to keep Folds of Honor posted on my progress. Without the Folds of Honor Organization, my dreams of serving my country would be a lot more difficult to accomplish. This scholarship is a huge blessing.”
