Lieutenant Colonel Escoe valiantly fought cancer for more than 10 years while serving his country and raising a family. While he is no longer with us, his children Brayden, Kellen and Kendrie honor his legacy every day.
His youngest daughter Kendrie, a freshman at Eastern Oklahoma State, and a cancer survivor herself, now plays soccer at the collegiate level and takes pride in being able to fulfill her father’s dream for her to get a college education, something he greatly valued. She is forever connected to her father after they fought cancer together for two and a half years during her childhood. While her dad continued his fight against cancer for 10 years before his death, she is now cancer free and thriving, crediting her father for all the support he gave her in their most trying times.
His oldest daughter Brayden, a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma, recently discovered her passion and is working towards helping those who struggle with substance abuse. One of her most treasured memories is her annual Daddy-Daughter Ball, which her and her father attended together every year since elementary school. Their final dance was six weeks before his passing. She will always remember that even though he was near the end of his life, his main focus was on being the best dad he could be.
His son Kellen, a junior at Southern Nazarene University, is a dedicated hard worker deeply involved in his studies, student government and campus ministry. Kellen will always remember the strength, bravery and dedication his father displayed throughout his life, and he applies these values every day as he strives to get the most out of college and honor his father’s legacy.
The Escoe children’s mother now has three children in college at the same time. We are proud to be able to honor the service of Lt. Col. Escoe by helping ease the financial burden and provide a college education for his three children. We couldn’t be more proud of them, and we look forward to hearing of all their future accomplishments.

The Michigan Chapter was established in August of 2016 at the Grand Haven Golf Course, what is considered to be the birth place of Folds of Honor, where Major Dan Rooney held his first tournament and raised $8,513 in 2006.
To date, the Michigan Chapter has raised more than $200,000 for the families of our nation’s military heroes. With the local support of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Cooper Standard, Panasonic Auto Group, George Brothers Classic Rock Band, Eagle Technologies, Boulder Creek Golf Course, TreeTops Golf and Resort, Manistee National Resort and Golf and Light House Group, they continue to grow to not only make an impact locally, but nationally.

Seamus Casey, a passionate and driven patriot, has a goal to raise $65,000 to provide 13 Folds of Honor educational scholarships to the children and spouses of our fallen or disabled service members. Using TeamRaiser to support his efforts, Seamus has raised more than $42,000 to date.
