Folds of Honor Golf Marathon 2021

Dave Loomis' Golf Marathon

FREEDOM ISN'T FREE!

Founded in 2007, the Folds of Honor mission is to provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Their motto says it best:

Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy.

Florida is the 4th largest recipient state in the country with 287 scholarships being awarded in FL this academic year equaling over $1.4 million dollars. Regretfully, 128 fully qualified applicants went without awards due to lack of funding. There is no doubt the FOH impact hits close to home and the need remains great.

I am a proud Navy Veteran who served in the first Gulf War plus two tours in the Persian Gulf. To display my commitment to these families who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms, I will play a golf marathon from sun-up until sun-down on Monday, September 20th. I am committed to playing at least 45 holes, if not more.

My goal is to raise at least $1,000. And I need your help!

My ask is that you consider one of the below options:

1. Support my efforts by pledging me per hole played, birdie, eagle or hole-in-one made during my marathon. CLICK HERE to make a pledge.

OR

2. Simply hit the DONATE NOW button on this page to make a one-time, lump sum donation.

Regardless of the amount, all donations are so appreciated and make a difference in the lives of these deserving individuals.

Thank you for your support of our most honorable military families!

Dave Loomis, (ret) US Navy

PS-all donors will receive a charitable tax receipt upon donation submission.
